Join us on this popular salmon school on the famous River Mörrum
in Sweden.
For 10 years in a row Kristian Söderström (member of the
Guideline Power Team) has arranged this salmon school.
Several students have learned to handle a two handed fly rod on
this classic River. We are fishing Hotel Walhalla’s private
beat, right below the power station near the small village
Svängsta (ABU factory). This beat is located in the forest, and
is a single- (right hand) bank fishing only. During August and
September this beat hold lots of large Baltic salmon and sea
trout.
The course are all-inclusive, with accommodation, three meals per
day, guiding and qualified instruction, demonstration and
discussions. The students are sharing a double room; single
rooms are available at an additional cost.
This course is a perfect start for new beginners, to learn Spey
Casting “Scandinavian style” and fishing technique “live” on the
river. Several students have caught their first Baltic salmon
during this salmon school.
